Are you a young artist not knowing where to start? You have some great ideas but are not quite sure how to initiate them without some guidance from the people who know what they are doing? Then look no further than JUMP.  This new, national program in centred around a framework for developing and supporting mentoring relationships between young and emerging artists, and established professionals in the arts industry.

These mentors can provide support for your artistic, professional and even personal development on a regular basis, as well as provide you with practical insight into your chosen field early on in your career path. So even if you feel you already have these qualities, the JUMP mentor program is also beneficial in widening your industry knowledge and contacts considerably.

You must be aged 18-30 and your artistic practice must fit within the artform areas supported by the Australia Council for the Arts. This includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts, Community Arts, Dance, Inter-Arts, Hybrid Arts, Interdisciplinary Arts, Literature, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts.
