Has Climate Change placed the global community at a crossroads? Does something- or rather a wide range of things need to change in order to safeguard our sustainable future? How are we to re-think the way we run our economies, our lifestyles and ourselves? Are we in the red just yet?

Climate Change - Polar Icecaps courtesy of Roomic CubeAs part of the UTSPEAKS series, The University of Technology Sydney is holding a free panel discussion on the topic of sustainability featuring speakers Professor Dexter Dunphy, Professor Jim Falk, Professor Thomas Clarke and moderated by National Environment Reporter for Network Ten Emily Rice.

Professor Dexter Dunphy is a leading thinker in sustainability and has published a number of bestselling business books. He is a member of the Westpac Community Consultative Council and was Foundation Director of the Centre for Corporate Change at the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Professor Jim Falk is the Director of the Australian Centre for Science, Innovation and Society at the University of Melbourne. He was a visiting professor at the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies in Yokohama and is also the Director of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities Climate Theme.

Thomas Clarke is a Professor of Management and Director of the UTS Centre for Corporate Governance. He is also a regular media commentator on the Global Financial Crisis.

These kinds of discussions are essential to spur industry players and youth alike to do something about the environmental challenges before us.
